Larry is currently the pitching coach for the Wichita Wranglers, AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. He has been with the Royals for eight seasons coaching teams in Lansing, Michigan; Wilmington, Delaware; Charleston, West Virginia; and Scottsdale, Arizona.

Previously, Larry was a player/coach for the independent Tyler Wildcatters. Larry holds the record for the only no-hitter ever pitched in team’s four year history.

Larry played in the San Francisco Giants organization for six years and made his major league debut in 1992. He was named Texas League Pitcher of the year in 1991 while playing for the Shreveport Captains.

He was originally drafted in the tenth round by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1986.

Larry has been teaching private pitching lessons in East Texas since 1994.
